Overall

42 Drury St
Dublin, Ireland

I decided to go on a bit of a vegan adventure a few weeks ago. I was visiting Dublin, Ireland and wanted to try every veggie restaurant I could, within walking distance from where I was staying. My first stop was Blazing Salads. I was a little surprised to find how small this restaurant is, but for what it lacks in size, it makes up in food. Set up in the middle of the restaurant, is a salad bar. Around the cash, are baked goods, patties and fun treats such as vegan rice balls. There are only 2 stools at the front, so this restaurant is better if you’d like your order to go. One wall is completely lined with items for purchase, which is wonderful if you’re looking for a specialty item. The other wall has the hot food station, which I definitely plan on trying in the future – the hot curry looked perfect!

The food I ordered was delicious. I liked how everything was very clearly labeled, so there was no confusion with what I could or could not eat. I ended up eating a really great bean patty and rice balls. They were a great snack, but I don’t think it would be enough for a full meal. Their menu changes daily, with the specials always being posted here.

Overall, I’d definitely go back to Blazing Salads. The two items I tried were really tasty, without being too oily! I do wish there were more places to sit, but on a day where I just need something quick to feast on, this will be the spot I hit up.
