Pacifica may be one of my favorite brands so far. Every single item I’ve tried has been of overwhelmingly high quality. One of my favorite attributes of this brand are the scents they offer for their products. They have such a large range, there is really something for everyone. Please see below for my review of each individual product I’ve tried.

About Pacifica:

All Pacifica products are 100% cruelty free, gluten free and vegan. They place a high importance on the environment and ensure that all of their boxes are fully recyclable. They aim to use manufacturing components that are recyclable and they offset their company travel by purchasing carbon credits. As well, Pacifica supports their local economy and tries to manufacture everything within the USA. Pacifica also is proud to donate to women’s shelters and works to reduce their carbon footprint, wherever possible.

My opinion on the products:

411mXlxcqzL._SY355_BODY BUTTER (ISLAND VANILLA): If you have skin like mine, you’re going to want a deep moisturizing body cream. During the winter months in Canada, my skin takes a beating. It cracks and flakes and there is nothing I can do to avoid it. This body butter saves me – it nourishes my skin, leaving it smooth, taking away any cracking or flaking and provides a lingering delicious scent.  The scent does not over power, but compliments me perfectly and lingers for quite a while. This body butter is paraben free, easy to apply and does not leave your skin sticky. Great for feet, elbows and rough skin. With intoxicating scent and effective moisture, this is my favorite body butter to date. 10/10

*Comes in different scents: Indian Coconut Nectar, Tuscan Blood Orange, Hawaiian Ruby Guava, French Lilac, Brazilian Mango Grapefruit, Malibu Lemon Blossom, Tahitian Gardenia, Sandalwood, Persion Rose, Mediterranean Fig, Waikiki Pikake, Sugared Amber Dreams, Tunisian Jasmine Lime & Lotus Garden.

The smell of vanilla fills my entire bathroom. With a variety of scents for every palette, this body wash is perfect. It is strong enough to cleanse dirt and residues off of the skin, while remaining gentle enough to use in sensitive areas. It is sulphate free, which can sometimes mean that it does not lather well, but do not worry with this body wash – it foams perfectly! I even use it to shave. A great note about it – a portion of all Island Vanilla proceeds go directly to help marine conservation! 10/10

kale-detox-natural-face-washKALE DETOX DEEP CLEANING FACE WASH:  If you’re looking for a product that removes all of the dirt, make up and residue – you’ve found it. The website suggests that this detox wash is best for oily or acne prone skin and provides a consistently clean result. It deeply cleanses, leaving no toxins left in your pores. While I do not have oily skin or acne prone skin, I do enjoy wearing make up on the daily and sometimes the make up can be hard to fully remove. I love and use this wash because it removes all and any heavy makeup that may be on my skin. The scent of the Kale Detox Face Wash is slightly earthy, as it’s comprised of kale, seaweed and blue seakale to create that deep cleanse that we all desire so badly. This wash is perfect for me when I need something more, however I do not use it every day – mainly because my complexion is not oily on a daily basis. This is my go to after a heavy make up day, a gym session or an unusually hot day outside. 9/10

NAIL POLISH: These nail polishes are as good as they get. Battling the quality of the commonly used top brands, Pacifica nail polish overtakes any of the competition by a land slide. Not only are these polishes incredible quality, they are cruelty free, vegan and 7-free! 7-free means that the polishes do not contain the most toxic chemicals commonly found in nail polish, which are: parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, and resin. These polishes last a long time and do not chip. They go on thick, never requiring more than 2 coats. I recommend these to everybody. The price point for the polishes are extremely reasonable; most are around $9 per color.  9/10

Purify wipes 2-Web12-20-2012_0 PURIFY COCONUT WATER CLEANSING WIPES: In my quest to find the perfect face wipes, I came across these and they are one of the best that I’ve tried yet! Let’s begin with the packaging. The opening has a plastic cover, making it completely resealable and thus keeping the wipes from drying out. Next, the smell. The scent of coconut is so wonderful, I honestly wish they were edible. I love how the scent lingers on my face, even after use. These wipes remove makeup, residue and dirt perfectly, all the while leaving the skin really soft for hours. Each wipe is extremely sturdy and it only takes one wipe per use. These Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes really deserve a 10/10.
