Let me precede this review by telling you that I find it very hard to eat well in Lisbon. With Portuguese food so heavily based on fish and meat, I find myself constantly struggling to find vegan food. I have found vegetarian restaurants in the past, however up until this point, I’ve been thoroughly disappointed with most of them. Psi changed the entire game.

Finding Psi was like winning the jackpot, as far as vegan food goes. I enjoyed my meal so much during my first visit, that I had to return 2 days in a row. Like most vegetarian restaurants in Lisbon, Psi serves food for lunch until 3 pm and then for dinner starting at 7 pm. In between those hours, coffee and teas are available. Psi is closed on Sunday.

Vegetarian buffet is where it’s at. Let’s be honest – who doesn’t love all you can eat plant based foods? I personally love being able to load my plate up, not just once, but twice, or more…. Vegan life is a life of abundance, so bask in it’s glory and eat up!

Green Pepper is a cool spot. It’s closed on Sundays and open all other days for lunch until 3 pm and then from dinner starting at 7 pm. The buffet at Green Pepper is vegetarian and although you can find dishes containing eggs or dairy, there is never any shortage of vegan options. They offer a few hot vegan dishes every day, as well as a salad bar complete with all your vegan favorites.
